Grandma mini apple pies recipe

Ingredients

  • pie dough (could be frozen)
  • 6 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 oz unsalted butter, sliced
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 oz peanuts
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 250˚-280˚ Fahrenheit.
  2. Sprinkle the apples with the sugar and cinnamon and leave for 5 min.
  3. Combine the apples with all the ingredients except for the pie dough and butter.
  4. Coat the muffin pan with the butter, oil or cooking spray and then spread out the dough over the muffin pan. Cut out the dough with a glass or circular kitchen tool, but remember that the round crust should be bigger than a muffin.
  5. Push down each round crust part into a muffin pan.
  6. Spoon the apple filling into each pie crust and top with the butter.
  7. Place the mini apple pies into the oven and bake for 30 min.!
