Tangy apple-rhubarb smoothie recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 each red Delicious apples
  • 4 each large fresh rhubarb stalks, leaves removed, and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup chopped raw walnuts
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice 2 cups or filtered water
  • Chopped raw walnuts, for garnish
How to Make It
  1. Place all of the ingredients, except the garnish in a high powered blender. Start on low, and then increase the speed to high. Blend until smooth.
  2. For Garnish
  3. Sprinkle each glass with chopped walnuts, and then serve.
