Oatmeal with cheese recipe

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup rolled oats (not the quick-cooking type)
  • 3 tsp apple juice
  • 3 Tbsp ricotta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp raisins
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • Ground cinnamon, to taste
How to Make It
  1. Bring the water to a boil. Stir in the oats. Let the oats simmer covered for 10 to 15 minutes or until the water is nearly evaporated.
  2. Mix the apple juice and ricotta cheese, and then stir in the raisins.
  3. Transfer the porridge to a large serving bowl. Stir in the ricotta cheese mixture and the sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve hot.
