Old-fashioned hot fudge recipe

  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2⁄3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
How to Make It
  1. In Instant Pot, combine sugar, flour, and cocoa powder. Whisk dry ingredients together. If making gluten-free, simply omit flour and add 1½ tbsp. cornstarch.
  2. Select Sauté mode and add milk and butter. Bring fudge to a boil while stirring gently. Let boil for 2 minutes.
  3. Turn off Instant Pot. Add vanilla, stirring to incorporate.
  4. Let sauce cool slightly. Serve with your favorite dessert dishes.
