Trap Kitchen


  • 2 lbs of yams
  • 1 cup of brown sugar (minimum)
  • 1 bag of marshmallows
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup of cane sugar
How to Make It
  1. This gon ’bust down. Peel the yams, cut them to your liking, We be cutting them into thin medallions (circular  like a quarter inch thick.) Boil them until they get soft, which is usually for one hour.
  2. Take your butter you can melt the sticks yourself in the microwave or just throw them in whole. Put hella brown sugar - over a cup. Go crazy with hella cinnamon - you have to taste it. Maybe it’s 2 tablespoons, maybe it’s 3. Add a cup of orange juice. Top it with a cup of regular sugar.
  3. In a baking pan, set it in the oven uncovered for 1 hour. For the last 2 minutes, top it with marshmallows and put back in until the marshmallows turn light brown. You don’t want to burn your shit!
