  • 5 apples, cubed
  • 2 tbsp orange zest, minced
  • half cup of orange juice
  • 2 tbsp almond extract
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • baking spray
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 280˚-310˚ Fahrenheit and then coat the pie pan with the baking spray.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the cubed apples, orange zest, orange juice, almond extract and vanilla and cook for 10 min.
  3. Beat the eggs with the sugar using a hand mixer until the mixture becomes foamy and grows in volume at least two times.
  4. Add the flour and beat the eggs mixture for 10 min. more. Then mix in the baking powder and spoon the mixture into the apples and mix well.
  5. Spoon the apples mixture into the pie pan and bake for 55 min. until golden brown and crispy.
