Plum apple torte recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 sour apples, grated
  • 2 sweet apples, grated
  • 2 cups of plums, cubed
  • 1 cup of plum jam
  • 1 cup of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of semolina
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 5 oz unsalted butter, sliced
  • baking spray
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 280˚-300˚ Fahrenheit and then coat the pie pan with the baking spray.
  2. Sprinkle the grated apples with the cinnamon and leave for 10 min.
  3. In a big kitchen bowl, combine the wheat flour, semolina, baking soda and sugar.
  4. Spoon 1/3 of the mixture into the pie pan and flatten with the spoon. Then spoon the grated apples and half of the plum jam on top. After that place the flour mixture on top and cover it with the cubed plums and then top with the flour mixture. Make one apples and plum jam, one cubed plums and three flour layers, remember that the flour mixture goes on top.
  5. Place the sliced butter on top to cover the torte surface completely and bake the apple torte for 1.5 h. Cool the apple torte and spoon the rest of the plum jam on top. Serve the plum apple torte with the cream cheese and cocoa.
