AVOCADO CREAM SAUCEThis cool and creamy sauce is the perfect accompaniment to anything spicy. Use it in place of sour cream or guacamole in your favorite Mexican-style dishes (like the burritos), or even as a dip for tortilla chips. Makes 1 cup. Total time: 5 minutes.


  • 1 large avocado, pitted and cut into chunks
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 0.75 cup whole milk
  • Salt, to taste
How to Make It
  1. In a blender or food processor, blend avocado, lime juice, sour cream, and milk on high speed until creamy. Season to taste with salt.
