  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1½ cups self- rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • Whipped cream, optional
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease and flour a 13 × 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and oil in a medium bowl; mix well. Stir in the flour and vanilla. Add the pecans and stir until evenly mixed. Spoon into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
