Marshmallow & bacon butty recipe

I am unashamed. There are no nutritional benefits whatsoever to this work of the devil but, hey, it’s the weekend. Don’t ruin it by using wholemeal bread. Plastic white all the way for this one.

  • Yield: 1 for a very hungry / greedy person

Ingredients

  • 4 rashers of smoked back bacon
  • 2 slices of buttered white bread
  • 6 marshmallows
How to Make It
  1. Grill the bacon until nice and crispy, and lay it on the unbuttered side of one of your slices of bread.
  2. Put the marshmallows in the middle of the slice of bread, then lay the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
  3. Put into a sandwich toaster and cook until light golden brown. (Don’t cook it any longer or the marshmallows will leak out and burn.)
