Tuna, broccoli, cheese, and mushroom casserole recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna in water (well-drained)
  • 2 cups steamed broccoli florets
  • ½ cup chopped sweet onion
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1 can cream of mushrooms
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • ¾ Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
How to Make It
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
  2. In a skillet, heat the butter and cook the onions and mushrooms for about 7-8 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Grease a large baking pan and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushrooms, milk, tuna, mushrooms, and steamed broccoli. Mix well.
  5. Add the salt and pepper. Mix again.
  6. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Add the cheese as a first layer, then add the breadcrumbs as well.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve warm.
