Almond & date protein bars recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural almond butter
  • ½ cup vegan chocolate protein powder
  • ½ cup pitted dates
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup chopped almonds
  • ¼ cup flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
How to Make It
  1. Line an 8x8” baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Add all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until it forms a tacky, thick dough.
  3. Press the dough into the baking dish, while making sure to properly press it into each corner; use your hands to pack the batter down evenly across the entire pan.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for around 2 hours to cool, or 1 hour in the freezer.
  5. Cut into 8 equal-sized bars and store, or, enjoy the bars right away.
