High protein black bean dip recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups black beans (cooked, rinsed, drained)
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt + salt to taste
How to Make It
  1. Place black beans in a large bowl and mash them with a fork until everything is mostly smooth.
  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients and incorporate thoroughly. The mixture should be smooth and creamy.
  3. Add some additional salt and lemon juice to taste and serve at room temperature.
