Beef and beans recipe

  • Yield: 4 to 6 Servings


  • 1½ lbs lean ground beef
  • 15-oz can tomato sauce with garlic and onion
  • 2 15-oz cans low-sodium kidney beans, undrained
  • salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It
  1. Brown beef in a nonstick skillet, just until the pink is gone. Drain.
  2. Place beef in bottom of slow cooker.
  3. Add tomato sauce, beans, and salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on Low 4–6 hours.
