Caramel sour cream cake recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1¾ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
How to Make It
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9×13 pan with unsalted butter.
  2. In a bowl, combine sour cream and sugar; beat well.
  3. Add brown sugar and beat.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Stir into sour cream mixture and beat at medium speed for 1 minute. Pour into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack; store covered at room temperature.
