Cowboy Chili Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 lb. Ground Pork
  • 12 Onion, diced
  • 12 Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 14 cup Beef Broth
  • 3 Tbsp. Organic Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp. Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 2 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp. Cumin
  • 1 1/4 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 12 tsp. Cayenne
  • 12 tsp. Liquid smoke
How to Make It
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350F.  
  2. 2. Season the ground beef and pork with salt and pepper. Put the ground beef and pork in a pan to brown.  
  3. 3. As the beef and pork is cooking, dice up the onion and bell pepper. .
  4. 4. When the beef and pork mixture is done, drain excess grease
  5. 5. Continue cooking meat a little longer until browned, then put into a baking pan.  
  6. 6. Fry the onions, peppers, and garlic in some of the leftover fat. Once finished, add them to the beef.  
  7. 7. Add all the spices, tomato paste, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the meat.  
  8. 8. Mix everything together well, and then add the other 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the top of the casserole.  
  9. 9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese on top is thoroughly melted.  
  10. 10. Optional: when baked, broil the casserole for 3-5 minutes more for a crispy cheese top.  
  11. 11. Cut into 9 pieces and serve.
